A project transaction report shows the transactions linked to various projects. To generate the transaction report, go to Projects/Reports/Transaction.
You can filter the transactions that you want to display in the report. To filter the transactions, you can define one or more filter criteria and click Start. The system will display the transactions that match the specified filter criteria. A list of options appears if you click n the GL account, Project, Warehouse, Manager, Item group, Account, Job group, Resource, and Cost center boxes. From the list, make your selection and click Select.
Type or select the range of dates to display transactions that occur within that date range. Entering only the start of the date range will display transactions that occur from the entered date onwards. Entering only the end of the date range will display transactions that occur until the entered date. Select the All check box to display transactions that occur on any date.
Select the Unprocessed check box to display transactions which have yet to be processed. Clear the check box to include both processed and unprocessed transactions.
Type or select a general ledger account or a range of accounts to display the transactions linked to the selected account(s). Select the All check box to display the transactions linked to any GL account.
Select Labor hour to display transactions linked to labor hour items only. Select All to display transactions linked to any item.
Type or select the item group to display transactions linked to the selected item group. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any item groups.
Type or select a project or a range of projects to display transactions of the selected project(s). Select the All check box to display transactions of all projects.
Type or select the warehouse to display transactions linked to the selected warehouse. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any warehouse.
Type or select the manager to display transactions linked to the selected manager. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any manager.
Type or select the creditor account to display transactions linked to the selected account. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any creditor account.
Type or select the job group to display transactions linked to the selected job group. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any job group.
Select the check box to exclude transactions of automatically generated projects from the report.
Note: If you have cleared the Generate project check box at System/General/Settings, under Order Settings in the Entry section, projects are automatically generated only for quotations, sales orders, service orders, or service contracts which contain hour items.
If you have selected the Generate project check box at System/General/Settings, under Order Settings in the Entry section, projects are automatically generated, regardless of the type of items.
However, production projects will always be considered as non-auto generated projects. Thus, to view production projects, clear the Exclude: Automatically generated projects check box.
Select the Internal, Fixed, Time & Material, Training and/or Production check boxes to display transactions linked to projects with the corresponding type.
Select the Proposed, Active, Completed and/or Blocked check boxes to display transactions linked to projects with the corresponding status.
Type or select the resource to display transactions linked to the selected resource. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to any resource.
Type or select the cost center to display transactions linked to resources belonging to the selected cost center. Select the All check box to display transactions linked to resources belonging to any cost center.
Select one of the listed layout to display the transactions according to the selected order. For example, if you select Resource, Item, Date, the transactions will be displayed starting from the Resource, Item, and Date columns.
Select the Manager, Project, Resource, Qty. Costs (Planning), Qty. Costs (Actual), Costs (Planning), Costs (Actual), Qty. Revenue (Planning), Qty. Revenue (Actual), Revenue (Planning), Revenue (Actual), Result (Planning), and Result (Actual) check boxes to show the corresponding columns. Clearing all check boxes will only show the Manager and Resource columns.
Click Start to view the project transaction record based on the latest selected criteria.
Click Close to exit.
